Hi, I finished watching the movie/documentary Super Size Me in class, and I noticed that Morgan Spurlock’s body seemed to have gotten addicted to the fast food, according to his gastroenterologist. There’s also a section of the movie that focuses how fast food is addictive ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pg8rF_tCKeE ).

However, why did the movie portray the addiction in a certain light?
And also, why did the movie get into talking about the addiction of fast food?

They used the theme of addiction to counter-argue against the fact that fast-food companies are to be blamed for your health, it is yourself that keeps eating and not stopping. Fast-food companies do not control your habits.
